THE FISHERMAN is a quiet, lighthearted short following a young man who, after being left behind on a trip, grabs his late grandfather’s tackle box to seek connection and solace by the water.

After missing out on a group fishing trip, a young man finds comfort in nostalgia, looking through old photos and childhood videos of fishing with his grandfather. Armed with his grandfather’s tackle box and a sense of determination, he sets out alone to the water. Blending quiet reflection with moments of humor and charm, THE FISHERMAN is an honest, lighthearted look at grief, memory, and finding your own way to honor the past.
